Belated Hood Tuesday : Beantown keeping it thoro

Since I missed this post on our new most favorite day of the week (apologies) I wanted to go give you some more weird hood rap. Puerto Rican from Boston with beats from Premier, Statik Selektah (sp?) and Roc Raida, with songs feat. Biggie, Bun B and Royce Da 5'9. The First song on this mix (Watch How It Go Down) is the joint that put him on the map when after years of waiting (he met Premier in 2003 at a video shoot) Primo hit him with this beat. These are some of my favorite jams from his Hood Politics series. I'm missing Hood Politics 2. Heres Part one, and heres Part Two, and remember, if its Tuesday, its gotta be hood.

Rappy Rap 14

Notable tracks include new Pete Rock produced Raekwon track from upcoming Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 aka Purple Tape 2 and Renaissance Rap (remix) ft. Busta Rhymes, Raekwon and Lil Wayne. It's a Juice Crew-esque posse cut track. Enjoy. Tell your friends.
